You'll be the voice of the user, the defender of quality, and the final checkpoint before anything reaches the real world. From test planning to automation, your work will shape reliable, seamless digital experiences.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design smart, structured test plans based on business requirements and user stories
- Turn requirements into detailed, actionable test cases
- Spot gaps early before code is even written
- Dive into edge cases and exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues
- Partner with product and dev teams to ensure everything is clear, testable, and aligned
- Execute functional testing across web and mobile platforms
- Validate real user journey registration, payments, search, accounts, and more
- Ensure data accuracy, UI behavior, and workflows are flawless
- Run regression testing to keep new releases from breaking old features
- Track tests, results, and defects using tools like Jira or TestRail
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile, and APIs
- Identify repetitive tests and turn them into efficient automated scripts
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for faster, smarter releases
- Use tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium to level up testing
- Debug across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases to find root causes
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and UX/UI designers
- Join stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives with a QA lens
- Help define acceptance criteria and testing standards
- Report and prioritize bugs based on real user impact
- Support and mentor junior QA team members
- Track test progress, risks, and defect trends
- Deliver clear, actionable reports to stakeholders
- Ensure documentation is always accurate and up to date
- Confirm release readiness by validating coverage and resolving critical issues
- Improve testing strategies, tools, and processes
- Stay current with the latest QA trends and technologies
- Champion best practices and quality standards across the team
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Software Engineering, or similar
- 3–5 years of experience in QA, including functional and automation testing
- Experience in e-commerce or software environments is a strong plus
- Test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
- SQL for data validation across relational/non-relational databases
- Git or other version control systems
- Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for UI testing
- API testing tools (Postman, Swagger)
- Automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
- Bonus: performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust
- Deep understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, V-Model)
- Sharp analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities without compromising quality
- Clear communication technical or not
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Ability to test APIs and validate JSON/XML responses
- Curiosity about AI-driven systems and how to test them
