Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Quality Control (QA/QC) role based in Mumbai, India. The QA/QC professional will oversee and ensure quality management procedures are implemented across all production stages, from raw material inspection to final product output. Responsibilities include monitoring manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, verifying adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), conducting quality audits, preparing and maintaining detailed quality reports, and resolving quality-related issues. Working closely with production teams, the QA/QC professional will support the continuous improvement of processes to uphold the company's high standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal component manufacturing or a similar industrial setting is mandatory
• Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes to ensure accurate evaluation and consistency of materials and products
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hands-on experience in implementing industry-standard quality practices
• Proficiency in Quality Auditing to assess, address, and improve areas of improvement in compliance and quality in manufacturing operations
• Familiarity with Quality Management systems for maintaining comprehensive quality procedures and documentation
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production quality variations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as collaborative teamwork capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field is highly advantageous
• Review and interpret 2D & 3D part drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Perform weight and volumetric calculations for components and shipments.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Control (QC) reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with factory & fulfill to fulfill their technical and material requisition requirements.
• Raise requisitions for raw materials and consumables as per project requirements.
• Maintain Excel-based documentation such as packing lists, purchase orders, and internal QC reports.
• Operate and interpret results using CMM, VMM, and Profile Projectors.
• Support QA audits and ensure accurate and timely reporting of QC findings.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the QC workflow.
