Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Bangalore/ Chennai/ Salem
Experience: 10+ years
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure the quality of our applications. The ideal candidate should have hands on experience in Manual and Automation testing and strong understanding of testing methodologies, API testing and Database validations. Experience in Medical Billing and Coding is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sound knowledge of fundamentals of the business and its processes.

- Develop, execute and maintain testcases, test plans and test scripts
- Perform Functional, Regression, System, Integration and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Test claim processing workflows, EDI transactions and data integrity (training will be provided if necessary)
- Conduct base API testing using tools like RestAssured, Postman
- Automate testcases using Selenium.
- Work with the developers, business analysts to understand the testing requirements
- Perform Database testing using SQL queries
- Document defects and test reports using JIRA, Azure Dev Ops or any bug tracking tool
- Assist in performance testing and write scripts to perform security testing and identify vulnerabilities.
- Build custom tools to support testing activities, such as data generators or log analysers
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or related fields
- Hands on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Junit/TestNG and API testing frameworks
- Hands on experience using Java, Python or JavaScript
- Experience with SQL Queries for database validation
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills
Preferred (but not Mandatory) Qualifications:
- Exposure to healthcare domain, Medical Billing, Coding
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and health care data security standards
- Experience with Performance testing tools like JMeter
- ISTQB certifications
- Knowledge of cloud-based healthcare applications
Quality Engineer
- Focus: Independently develops and refines the Quality Manual and builds robust automation frameworks and tests for product features, contributing to increased testing efficiency, software reliability, and reduced manual effort.
Senior Quality Engineer:
- Focus: Leading the strategic technical direction for test automation frameworks and quality management systems, tackling complex challenges in ensuring product reliability and performance, and significantly influencing product architecture for enhanced testability and the overall quality engineering practices of the team.
Expert Quality Engineer / Principal Quality Engineer
- Focus: Providing strategic technical direction for QA automation initiatives impacting multiple projects, leading the design and implementation of robust automation frameworks and quality manuals, cultivating a strong engineering culture focused on quality and efficiency, and significantly contributing to product success through improved test coverage and faster release cycles.
