Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Manager (Manual & Automation) to lead our quality assurance initiatives and drive test strategy across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, hands-on expertise in both manual and automation testing, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement overall QA strategy, processes, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor QA teams across manual and automation testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test suites.
- Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and release sign-offs.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to ensure quality at every stage of SDLC/STLC.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Ensure adequate test coverage (functional, regression, performance, security as applicable).
- Track QA metrics and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Manage resource allocation, timelines, and delivery commitments.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide risk-based quality inputs.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into build processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 45 years in a QA leadership/managerial role.
- Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
- Expertise in automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman/RestAssured) and performance testing is a plus.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).
- Strong people management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to define QA roadmaps and align quality goals with business objectives.
Good to Have
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
- Performance or security testing knowledge.
- Domain experience in SaaS / Web / Mobile applications.
