Lead Consultant Quality Analyst (Salesforce)
Role Summary
The Lead Consultant Quality Analyst Salesforce is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Salesforce implementations across multiple projects or clients. This role combines hands-on QA expertise with strategic leadership, covering manual and automated testing for Salesforce Clouds, integrations, and AI-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy for Salesforce programs, ensuring test coverage across configuration, customization, and integration layers.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Developers to understand business requirements and system dependencies.
- Prepare and review test plans, test strategies, and quality metrics for each release cycle.
- Oversee and participate in manual and automated testing for Salesforce applications, integrations, and custom components.
- Lead automation development using Salesforce-focused tools such as Provar, Selenium, ACCELQ, Copado Robotic Testing, or Katalon Studio.
- Ensure effective defect management, triaging, and root cause analysis for reported issues.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and validate production deployment readiness.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA Analysts and Automation Engineers across multiple projects.
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases, testing tools, and automation trends, and continuously enhance QA frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience leading QA teams in enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
- Experience in Salesforce testing or testing other SaaS applications.
- Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
- Database experience and working knowledge of SQL queries.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Hands-on expertise in Salesforce testing (UI, API, Integration, Data Migration).
- Certifications preferred: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, ISTQB, CSTE, Agile Tester, Provar Automation, Copado Certified Robotic Testing Professional.
