Quality Assurance Lead

Poster Experience specifically focuses on the user journey, which is the main source of user content for the product. We aim to make it easier, faster, and smarter to create and participate in conversations, and we drive several core product metrics for the entire ecosystem.

This specific role will involve migrating legacy Python microservice code to one or more existing Go microservices. Successful candidates have prior experience in these migrations at large scale (think millions of actions per day) and understand how to instrument and monitor their code for parity and consistency during rollout.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineering Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• 9+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 23 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong background in test automation, with hands-on experience in API testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Postman, PyTest, or similar)
• Good knowledge of Python for test automation and scripting
• Familiarity with REST APIs, async workflows, and microservices testing
• Strong experience testing React.js and Node.js applications
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver
• Experience driving QA strategy and leading teams in fast-paced engineering environments
• Solid SQL skills for database validation (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Familiarity with cross-browser testing, responsive design testing, and accessibility standards
• Experience with visual regression testing and modern UI validation practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Understanding of logging, monitoring, debugging, and backend issue triage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
