Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers (manual & automation).
- Define QA strategy, test plans, test processes, and quality benchmarks for the product.
- Ensure end-to-end quality across releases in a fast-paced product environment.
- Hands-on involvement in manual testing and automation testing when required.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium with Java.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Leadership teams.
- Participate in requirement discussions and provide early QA inputs.
- Work directly with Director / CEO / senior stakeholders to align quality goals with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and metrics.
- Utilize AI in testing (e.g., test optimization, test data generation, defect prediction, intelligent test execution) not limited to only test case creation.
Required Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- 3+ years of experience in a QA leadership / lead role.
- Prior experience working on a SaaS-based or product-only company (mandatory).
- Strong experience in Manual Testing (Web applications).
- Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium with Java.
- Experience with test frameworks, CI/CD integration, and version control tools.
- Proven experience in cross-team collaboration with engineering, product, and leadership teams.
- Experience managing QA deliverables across multiple releases.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to AI-driven testing tools or approaches is a strong plus.
