Quality Assurance Intern

We are looking for an Quality Assurance Intern who can actively contribute to building and maintaining robust test automation solutions across web and API layers. This role requires strong programming fundamentals, hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, and the ability to collaborate closely with developers to embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate approaches testing with an engineering mindset, focusing on scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement rather than manual execution alone.

Role: Quality Assurance Intern

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 6 Months Minimum

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: 2:00 -11:00 PM IST

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Cypress or Playwright
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and Rest Assured
• Execute and analyze performance testing using JMeter
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality across the SDLC
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using appropriate tools
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Ensure test coverage, test documentation, and quality metrics are maintained

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Automation Testing (Cypress or Playwright)
• Proficiency in Manual Testing concepts and best practices
• Hands-on experience with API Testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
• Good programming knowledge in JavaScript, Java, or Python
• Experience with Performance Testing using JMeter
• Familiarity with VS Code for development and testing
• Solid understanding of GitHub for version control
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Negotiable Skills:

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Knowledge or exposure to AI / AI-driven testing tools

Qualification/ Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
