Quality Assurance Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and comprehensive test cases for new and existing products.
• Perform exploratory, functional, integration, installation, upgrade, compatibility, GUI, smoke, accessibility, ad hoc, persona-based, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs throughout the development lifecycle.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities effectively.
• Contribute to and implement test automation using industry-standard tools.
• Perform thorough regression testing after defect resolution.
• Track and analyze QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools, automation frameworks, and QA strategies.
