We are looking for a motivatedJunior/Middle QA Engineerto join our HR Tech product team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of features across our workforce management platform. You'll work closely with developers, PO, and UX to validate requirements, test new functionality, and maintain high standards for product quality.
This position is ideal for someone who is detailoriented, curious, comfortable documenting defects, and eager to grow into advanced testing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute manual test cases for new and existing HR Tech features
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Validate complex workflows related to time tracking, scheduling, compliance, and user access
- Log, track, and verify defects using Jira or a similar tracking tool
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and review meetings
- Analyze acceptance criteria to identify potential gaps or inconsistencies
- Collaborate with developers to understand technical behavior and expected outcomes
- Support automation efforts by preparing test scenarios and validating results
- Ensure test coverage for multirole HR Tech use cases (Admin, Manager, Employee/Contractor)
Requirements:
- 13 years of experience in QA Manual Testing
- Understanding of QA methodologies (per SHRM and ISTQB standards)
- Experience writing clear test cases and documenting reproducible defects
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices
- Ability to test complex user flows common in HR Tech, such as approvals, timekeeping, or compliance rules
- Experience with bugtracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Basic understanding of APIs or SQL is a plus
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Motivation to learn test automation over time
