Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications to ensure quality before go-live.
- Analyze functional specifications and design comprehensive test cases ensuring full coverage and minimal defect leakage.
- Conduct regression, smoke, and sanity testing to maintain system stability post updates.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve testing efficiency.
- Identify, reproduce, and track bugs; verify fixes and ensure timely resolution.
- Recommend improvements to enhance user experience and product quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders for issue resolution.
- Apply independent judgment and adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and challenges.
Requirements
- 2-4 years in software testing, including at least 1 year in automation.
- B. Tech or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (experience with JIRA preferred).
- Proven experience in testing both web and mobile applications.
- Skilled in writing detailed test scenarios, test cases, and documentation.
- Experience working in agile/scrum development environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High accountability and strong commitment to quality assurance.
- Exposure to performance or security testing is an added advantage.
