Role: Software Engineer – Quality

About the Job:

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support testing and validation of the Roaming Service Controller (RSC) platform, covering roaming policy, usage control, and customer-facing features. The role involves functional testing, automation, and security validation (TLS/mTLS) for telecom product deployments.

Roles & Responsibility: -

• Perform functional and integration testing of RSC features (policy control, data/voice/SMS usage, captive portal).
• Validate end-to-end telecom flows across network elements and APIs.
• Execute and maintain automation frameworks (Robot Framework/Python preferred).
• Perform TLS and mTLS-based security testing, including certificate validation and troubleshooting.
• Support CI/CD pipeline automation and regression testing.
• Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and collaborate with development teams.
• Participate in deployment validation, system testing, and customer release support.
• Work on multiple customer projects and enhancements in parallel.

Required Skills: -

• Experience in software testing/quality engineering (1-2 years)
• Strong understanding of telecom networks (4G/5G, Diameter(Gx/S6a), APIs)
• Hands-on experience in TLS/SSL and mTLS validation
• Automation using Python / Robot Framework
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, curl)
• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes environments

Preferred skills:

• Experience with telecom products (RSC/VPE/VHE)
• Exposure to Kafka, Traefik, or microservices architecture
• Performance testing and log analysis skills

• Good communication and collaboration skills

Work Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in the telecom testing domain.

Educational Qualification:

BE. / B.Tech., M.E./M.Tech. or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA
