Quality Assurance Engineer

The role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 23 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications through comprehensive testing strategies.

In this role, you will perform manual testing to identify bugs and ensure functional accuracy, while also contributing to the development and maintenance of automation test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage. You should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.

The candidate should be proactive, analytical, and capable of working closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases and test plans based on product requirements
• Perform manual testing (functional, regression, UI) to identify defects and ensure quality
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage
• Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and resolve issues
• Ensure adherence to SDLC/STLC processes and participate in test planning activities
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve product quality and reliability
