Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, API, and database testing to ensure product stability and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers to define and validate testable requirements for AI-powered features.
- Own the end-to-end quality of features—from test planning and execution to defect management and release sign-off.
- Create and manage detailed test cases, test data, and execution reports aligned with release cycles and sprint goals.
- Proactively identify, log, and track bugs and issues, working closely with engineering to ensure timely resolution.
- Work directly with customer-facing teams (support, sales, success) to troubleshoot live issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and release retrospectives, contributing a QA perspective.
- Contribute to the evolution of QA best practices, tools, and processes in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
- Continuously optimize test cycles to support frequent, high-quality releases with minimal regression risk.
Requirements:
- Hands-on expertise in Database and API testing, with a strong understanding of backend validation and data integrity.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Python for Web, API, and backend services.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure testability and quality of AI-driven features.
- 3+ years of experience in functional and regression testing of modern web applications.
- Minimum 3 years of product testing experience, preferably in agile, fast-paced environments.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect life cycle best practices.
- Skilled in test case design, defect logging, and test reporting using industry-standard tools.
- Ability to take full ownership of features and functionality from a QA perspective.
- Strong collaboration skills; experience working closely with support, sales, or customer-facing teams to investigate and resolve real-world issues.
- Comfortable operating in short release cycles, with a focus on quality under tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Prior experience in startup or product-based companies, thriving in dynamic and high-growth environments.
- Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, cookies, XML, and database concepts (SQL/NoSQL).
