Job Description (KRA to be Delivered):
Responsibilities
● Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, leveraging AI tools to improve coverage and efficiency.
● Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely and meaningful feedback.
● Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
● Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute testing activities.
● Identify, record, thoroughly document, and track bugs through resolution.
● Perform thorough regression testing once bugs are resolved.
● Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet evolving software requirements.
● Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify and clarify system requirements.
● Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts.
● Stay current with emerging testing tools, frameworks, and strategies.
● Be available during critical business scenarios and festival/peak periods.
Requirements and skills
● 2+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer (e-commerce preferred)
● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
● Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Codex,Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and strong prompt-engineering skills across varied testing scenarios.
● Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test
cases.
● Hands-on experience with white-box and black-box testing, API testing, and
performance testing.
● Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with the Playwright automation
framework using TypeScript/JavaScript.
● Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development process.
● Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
● Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA) in Computer Science,
Engineering, or a related field.
