Junior QA Engineer

Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Engineer (Manual+Automation). The QA Engineer will be responsible for test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, creating and executing test cases, and automation testing. The QA Engineer will be involved in the E2E software testing of the application (Mobile+Web+App).

Responsibilities :

* Review requirements, specifications, and PRDs to provide timely and valuable feedback.

* Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

* Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

* Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

* Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet software needs

* Design, develop, and execute optimized automation scripts with report generation and alerts using open-source tools.

* Liaise with internal teams (developers and product managers) to identify and discuss requirements.

* Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

* Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Requirements and skills :

* Proven work experience of 3+ years as a QA Engineer.

* Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

* Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

* Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing and API testing.

* Hands-on experience with Selenium with BDD and TDD framework.

* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. E-commerce is preferred.

* BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA degree in Computer Science, or a related subject

Note: Knowledge and Expertise in Performance testing, Jenkins, VAPT, and Generative AI using Prompt is a plus.
