Quality Assurance- Engineer

Dream11 is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. If you have 3+ years of experience in software QA, strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and proficiency in both manual and automation testing, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Your Role

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
• Work closely with developers to resolve issues and validate fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
• Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and evaluate quality metrics.
• Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Document testing procedures and maintain test documentation.
• Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Good-to-Have Skills

• ISTQB certification or similar QA certifications.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Gatling, Locust).
• Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience with mobile application testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github actions).
