Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science from a reputed institute, or equivalent industry experience.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant industry experience building test automation framework in Web / App / API using Selenium / Protractor / Postman / Rest-Assured / Appium / Karate / Cypress on current projects
- Strong Java/Python programming and should have experience working on backend / web / android / react / iOS applications
- Experience in industry best practices in SW development processes: Unit testing, code coverage, OO design, code quality, automation, code reviews etc
- Possesses knowledge of Test automation design patterns, CI/CD pipelines, application security, handling and executing huge test suites of Web / Android / IOS
- Non-Functional testing experience will be plus - JMeter / Gatling
- Ability to establish credibility with smart engineers quickly and provide longer-term vision and motivation.
- Experience with recruiting, coaching, mentoring and retaining the best technical talent in the industry.
- Strong expertise in setting highly scalable automation frameworks, Knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, and AWS / GCP / Azure cloud computing is plus
- Well-equipped with understanding of Gherkin, BDD and other test-automation models
- Create test execution plans coordinating with stakeholders of various product lines
- Monitor the testing activities, results, defects leakage, root cause analysis and areas of improvements to improve the QA process
- Manage QA metrics, prepare reports and present to stakeholders
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
