About Us
CoachLogik is an AI-powered platform for strength training that connects coaches and athletes through intelligent programming, real-time feedback, and performance analytics. We're a small team building something we wish existed when we were coaching—replacing messy spreadsheets and fragmented messaging with a cohesive, AI-native system.
The Role
We're hiring a QA Engineer who owns quality end-to-end across our web app, mobile app, and backend. You won't just be writing test cases in a spreadsheet—you'll be building the automation backbone that lets a small team ship fast without breaking athletes training. You'll work closely with engineering on AI-heavy features (agentic workflows, copilots, computer vision) where correct isn't always binary, and you'll figure out how to test that too.
What You'll Work On
- Test Automation: Build and maintain end-to-end test suites across web (Playwright/Cypress) and mobile (Detox/Appium), so regressions get caught before athletes do.
- API & Backend Testing: Write integration tests against our FastAPI + Hasura GraphQL layer. Validate contracts, edge cases, and the gnarly bits in between.
- AI Feature QA: Design eval frameworks for LLM-generated programs and copilot responses. Help us figure out what passing looks like when the output is probabilistic.
- Release Engineering: Own the pre-release checklist. Smoke tests, regression sweeps, and the judgment call on whether something is ready to ship.
- Bug Triage & Reproduction: Turn vague athlete/coach reports into tight, reproducible cases the eng team can fix in one shot.
- Performance & Cross-Platform: Catch issues across iOS, Android, and a long tail of browsers before users do.
What We're Looking For
- Automation-First: You've built test suites from scratch, not just clicked through them. Comfortable with Playwright, Cypress, Detox, Appium, or similar.
- You Ship: You'd rather ship a scrappy test that catches 80% of regressions today than spend a month building the perfect framework.
- Code Fluency: You can read and write TypeScript/Python well enough to debug, extend test infra, and contribute small fixes when you spot them.
- AI-First Mindset: You use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to write tests faster and to think about how to validate AI features themselves.
- Ownership: In a small team, quality is yours. You don't wait for someone to assign you a bug—you find it, file it, and follow up.
- Location: Immediate availability to join the team in our HSR Layout, Bengaluru office.
Our Stack
- Frontend: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind
- Mobile: React Native / Expo
- Backend: FastAPI, Python, Hasura GraphQL, PostgreSQL
- Test Tooling: Playwright, Jest, React Testing Library, Detox/Appium (mobile)
- AI: Claude, OpenAI, LangChain, agentic workflows
- Infra: AWS, Docker, GitHub Actions
Nice to Have
- Experience testing AI/ML features or building LLM eval pipelines
- Background in fitness, coaching, or sports tech
- Performance testing or load testing experience (k6, Locust)
- A side project, open source contribution, or anything you've shipped
What We Offer
- 10-12 LPA CTC (negotiable)
- In-person, HSR Layout, Bengaluru
- Direct impact on product direction
- Work on cutting-edge AI daily — agents, copilots, and computer vision are core to what we build
