Job Description

• We are seeking a QA Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team.
• The ideal candidate must have a strong technical understanding of modern web automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Appium, etc., with hands-on experience of working with these tools.
• The QA engineer will be responsible for automating tests with an aggressive test strategy and ensuring high-quality software delivery through a good mix of automated and manual testing processes.
• This role requires technical expertise in web testing tooling, plus the ability to collaborate & communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality engineering deliveries.

Skills & Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / MCA.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing
• Excellent testing, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Good experience in web, mobile and backend API testing with tools like Selenium, Appium,
• BrowserStack, Postman and other low or no-code tools, etc.
• Experience in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript etc.)
• Good understanding of SQL and database testing.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design an exhaustive test suite for a given application or feature
• Own QA for your builds by designing, writing & executing high-quality test cases - both automated & manual as an individual contributor.
• Ensure each build is in line with the PRDs from both functional and non-functional aspects.
• Being vocal about product requirements and suggesting positive changes.
• Work with engineering leads and product managers to refine test cases and strategy, if needed.
• Gain deep product & business context of the products to highlight defects and increase overall product quality.
• Optimise QA efforts provided by QAs to have the right balance of effort and quality and ensure timely QA sign-off
• Identify, document and track issues using JIRA or equivalent.
• Execute and monitor automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with software quality standards and security best practices.
• Drive improvements in test automation, explore new tools and technologies, and enhance the overall QA process.

Nice to Have

• Automation experience with TestSigma, BrowserStack, Katalon, Appium, etc.
• Experience in perf or load testing using custom scripts or JMeter, etc.
• Experience in B2B Travel, Expense or Fintech products.
