The Role

We're looking for a smart, passionate QA engineer with 3-4 years of experience to take complete

ownership of quality for assigned areas of the Cityflo app, and to lead the overall quality effort in

collaboration with engineers, Product Managers and operations.

This is a high-ownership role. You'll own test planning and release sign-off, decide where to invest in automation versus exploratory testing, and have a real say in how we build and ship. As we scale,

you'll also help build and lead the QA team

What will you do

We are looking for smart, passionate 1-3 years experienced QA engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be taking complete ownership of quality for assigned areas and leading efforts for the overall quality in collaboration/negotiation with engineers, Product Managers and taking initiative to improve product quality coverage and effectiveness.

• Mobile testing on Android and iOS — cross-device, cross-OS-version, varied network conditions. Familiar with OEM quirks and the App Store / Play Store release lifecycle.
• Fluent with LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) for generating test cases from PRDs and Figma, producing edge cases, drafting automation, and triaging crashes and logs. Knows when to verify AI output against the app, code, or spec.
• Hands-on with Appium, Maestro, Playwright, Espresso, or XCUITest. Exposure to AI-powered testing tools (testRigor, Mabl, Momentic, QA Wolf, BrowserStack AI) is a plus.
• Ability to debug problems in QA and Production environments and help isolate,debug and resolve bugs.
• Startup working style: ownership, comfort with ambiguity, willing to push back.
• Willingness to build and lead the QA team, manage app releases.
• Comfortable understanding requirements from PMs and deriving test cases/scenarios/plans out of it with high coverage , testing the systems and communicating issues/test results to cross­ functional teams early.
• Experience in E2E testing, Backend testing, Regression, Exploratory testing
