Automation Tester Mutual Fund Domain.
Role Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Automation Tester with deep expertise in the Mutual Fund domain. You will be instrumental in ensuring our Mutual Fund platforms deliver flawless performance, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional customer experience. Your blend of business insight and advanced technical testing skills will directly impact the quality, reliability, and scalability of our solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute robust manual test plans and cases targeting the full Mutual Fund lifecycleincluding SIPs, lumpsum investments, redemptions, portfolio reconciliation, scheme validations, investor verifications, and compliance checks, Payment gateway, KYC, business validations, verified investors etc.
- Automation Leadership: Architect, implement, and maintain high-quality automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, UFT, Appium, or equivalent tools to maximize test coverage and efficiency.
- Comprehensive Validation: Rigorously validate front-end, backend, and API components, ensuring seamless data integration, accurate reporting, and end-to-end process integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, business analysts, developers, and RTA teams to translate business requirements into actionable test scenarios and ensure successful transaction postings in RTA systems.
- Defect Management: Proactively identify, document, and prioritize defects using Jira or similar tools, driving swift resolution and minimizing risk.
- CI/CD Integration: Embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable, and repeatable software releases. And regularly perform regression analysis of the application
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all QA processes and validations adhere strictly to SEBI guidelines and internal quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 3 years hands-on experience in QA in mutual fund industry, with a strong record in both manual and automation testing .
- Advanced proficiency with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium or similar) and scripting languages (Python, Java, or C#).
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
- In-depth understanding of mutual fund operations, trade lifecycle, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD toolchains.
- Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud-based testing and deployment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to data profiling, lineage tracking, and metadata management solutions.
- Strong knowledge of mutual fund regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading QA teams.
