- Responsible for vendor assessment audits.
- Responsible for Source inspection, Incoming Inspection, In-process/Stage Inspection and Final Inspection.
- Responsible for Preparation & Review of First Article Inspection (FAI) and Last Article Inspection (LAI) of New Products and Customer Sample Products respectively.
- Responsible for Preparation & Review of QAP's and get it approval from the external aginecies.
- Be the part of cross functional team (CFT) in suggesting improved methods for reducing rejections, improving productivity, develops quality plans and control plans.
- Responsible for calibration of equipments.
- Maintain records of all inspected materails received, accepted and rejected.
- Monitor supplier performance.
- Identifies the need for the use of statistical techniques.
- Liason with customer wherever there is a product quality concern and solve the problem to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Responsible for closing product customer complaints after ensuring corrective actions.
- Responsible for disposal review of nonconforming product.
- Responsible for product review at various stages of product inspection.
- Responsible to inform QA Manager to stop the production or dispatch in the event of product nonconformance / quality problems and its subsequent disposal.
- Responsible to review raw material COC & mil certificates.
- Support engineering during new product manufacturing and development.
- Any other activities assigned by Manager.
Qualifications Required : B. Tech / B.E. / Diploma
