Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end manual testing of gaming applications and features.
• Create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and test reports.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and compatibility testing.
• Analyse product requirements and identify testing scenarios, edge cases, and potential issues.
• Perform game testing across different game flows, features, and releases.
• Test gameplay functionality, game rules, player flows, and different game scenarios.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
• Participate in release and regression testing to ensure product quality.
• Work closely with Product, Development, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain proper test documentation and provide regular updates on testing status.
• Support production issue investigation and validation of fixes.

Required Skills

• 2–6 years of experience in Manual Testing / QA.
• Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
• Good experience in Game Testing is required.
• Knowledge of Poker and Poker gaming concepts is mandatory/preferred.
• Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Ability to understand complex game flows and identify edge cases.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

• Experience testing online poker or real-money gaming products.
• Understanding of poker rules, game mechanics, player actions, betting rounds, and game flows.
• Basic knowledge of API testing and SQL/database validation.
• Exposure to automation testing or scripting.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
