About the RoleWe're looking for a QA Engineer with a strong foundation in manual testing and hands-on experience in automation using modern tools like Cypress, Playwright, and Jest.
You'll play a key role in improving product quality by building reliable automated test suites while continuing to ensure thorough manual validation where needed.
Responsibilities- Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress / Playwright
- Contribute to unit/integration testing using Jest in collaboration with developers
- Perform manual exploratory and regression testing when required
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test strategies
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
- Work closely with developers to ensure issues are resolved quickly
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
- Improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed
- Participate in code reviews for test automation
- Advocate for quality across the development lifecycle
Required Qualifications- 3–5 years of experience in QA / Software Testing
- Hands-on experience with Cypress and/or Playwright
- Experience with Jest (unit/integration testing)
- Solid understanding of web application testing
- Experience with API testing (Postman or similar tools)
- Familiarity with JavaScript / TypeScript
- Strong understanding of test design techniques
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Nice to Have- Experience setting up automation frameworks from scratch
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience testing AI-driven or data-heavy applications
- Knowledge of performance or load testing tools
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)
