External Description
- Responsible for developing quality assurance standards and company processes
- The individual will be responsible for creating Test cases for New Products/Enhancements of
- existing products and executing them.
- The individual would be expected to create quality measurements to track improvement in
- products and create reports, and document errors/issues for the development team
- The individual will be expected to write automation test cases using TypeScript in Playwright.
- The role would entail testing for various back-end APIs, including SOAP/REST with xml/JSON
- format.
- The individual will be expected to test the SQL Database structure and data in the Database.
- The individual will work closely with the development team to improve existing products.
- Given the growing demand for mobile apps, the individual will also be expected to test cross-
- platform optimization of the designed applications
- At Chubb, we believe in developing reusable assets. The individual should look to develop code
- for Automation testing scripts that can be replicated and reused for various requirements across
- the business.
- As a tester, he/she will be involved in the project gathering sessions with stakeholders to
- understand the requirements.
Required knowledge, Skills and qualifications
- Overall, 6-9 years of Quality Assurance experience.
- Experience with tools like JIRA for defect tracking.
- Experience with TypeScript using Playwright for Automation.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management.
- In addition, the individual should have the following
- In-depth understanding of industry standards and company policies
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Able to work under tight deadlines
- Should be flexible to accommodate business requirements and work requests from different time
- zones
- Excellent communication skills. The position requires constant interaction with stakeholders
- across the company.
- Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of the insurance domain would be an added advantage
