Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Cypress and JavaScript to

develop and maintain test automation frameworks for our applications. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for designing and executing automated test strategies, collaborating with cross-

functional teams, and ensuring software quality through rigorous testing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Automation Development:

o Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress and

JavaScript.

o Write, execute, and manage end-to-end (E2E) and integration tests.

2. Test Strategy & Execution:

o Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure software quality.

o Perform manual and automated testing for application functionality and APIs.

3. CI/CD Integration:

o Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines on BitBucket for automated testing.

o Ensure test automation is integrated into the development workflow.

4. Collaboration & Debugging:

o Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand

application requirements.

o Monitor, analyze, and report test results, identifying and resolving defects.

5. API Testing:

o Conduct API testing using tools like Postman for RESTful web services.

6. Software Quality Assurance:

o Ensure the released software is secure, accurate, and meets performance

expectations.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

3+ years of experience in software development and test automation.

Strong knowledge of Cypress.io and JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS, Node.js, Angular,

Redux-toolkit, and Redux.

Excellent debugging and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Non-Technical Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills to understand and resolve issues.

Ability to define task estimates, timelines, and alternate solutions.

Methodical and well-organized with a keen eye for detail.

Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
