We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SDET-2 to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, and database validation, with exposure to test automation using Selenium with Java. Experience with TestNG or Cucumber is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform automation testing on web and mobile applications.
- Design and execute API test cases using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Conduct database testing using SQL to validate business logic and data integrity.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
- Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
- Optional: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Optional: Utilize TestNG or Cucumber frameworks for test execution and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in automation testing, API testing, and database testing.
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.
- Basic understanding of Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Exposure to TestNG or Cucumber (preferred but not required).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
