Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with strong experience in test automation and modern testing frameworks. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in Playwright and a passion for building scalable, maintainable automated test solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Analyze requirements and create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Execute automated and manual tests to ensure product quality
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Continuously improve test frameworks, tools, and processes
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 59 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (preferred) or other programming languages
- Experience with automation frameworks and design patterns
- Knowledge of API testing (REST APIs)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other automation tools like Selenium or Cypress
- Knowledge of performance or security testing
- Experience working with Docker or cloud-based testing platforms
- Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.)
