Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester with hands-on experience in the Fintech domain to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing concepts, fintech workflows, and exceptional attention to detail to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute manual test cases, test plans, and test scenarios for fintech products.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand product requirements.
- Validate fintech processes like payments, fund transfers, KYC, and transaction modules.
- Perform API validation using tools like Postman (basic knowledge required).
- Ensure test deliverables are of high quality and meet project timelines.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes and sprint planning.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing (preferably in Fintech/BFSI domain).
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
- Experience in web and mobile application testing.
- Good understanding of SQL for database validation.
- Proficiency in using test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to API testing (Postman).
- Familiarity with Automation tools (basic understanding of Selenium/Cypress).
- Knowledge of Fintech regulations, data security, or banking workflows.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Notice Period:
Immediate joiner preferred.
