Quality Assurance Analyst
Remote
Qualifications:
- Experience in software quality assurance, testing web or backend applications in an Agile or DevOps environment.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, types of testing, and defect lifecycle.
- Hands on experience writing and executing test cases, with at least basic experience in test automation tools or frameworks.
- Ability to query and validate data (e.g., SQL) and interpret logs to troubleshoot issues.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to describe issues and collaborate across disciplines.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and with writing automated tests that QA/automation engineers can integrate into build and release workflows.
- Experience in requirements analysis for complex business domains.
Prior experience in the following technologies:
- Atlassian application suite (JIRA, Confluence JIRA Service Manager)
- Amazon Web Services
- Java/JavaScript
- Python
- Postgres
- Airflow
- Liferay or other micro-UI platforms
- Strong experience in Scrum and Kanban serving in a QA role
- Music industry domain knowledge a plus
- 5-6 years in Quality Assurance role serving in software development
