Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and software applications.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using defect tracking tools.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software functionality and performance.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Ensure software meets quality standards and business requirements before release.
- Participate in agile/scrum meetings and provide feedback on product quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results and quality reports.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Experience with manual testing and automation tools.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing (Postman or similar tools).
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or TestNG is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
