Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases for web applications to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Proficient in various testing types, including regression, ad hoc, sanity, smoke, usability, and integration testing.
- Perform API testing with Postman, and Perform comprehensive database testing to assess data integrity show proficiency in scripting with Java for test automation, emphasizing using tools like Selenium.
- Work with developer tools, such as browser dev tools, to validate UI/UX behavior and identify potential issues.
- Through knowledge of SDLC & STLC process.
- Skilled in identifying locators for automation testing, able to write automation scripts, and familiar with KDD and Hybrid Framework.
- Use version control systems, like Git, to organize and maintain test scripts, ensuring effective version control and collaboration.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, along with expertise in TestNG, Page Object Model (POM), and Java.
- Proficient in using JIRA for defect tracking and experienced in Agile methodologies.
- Develop and maintain effective strategies for test data management, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency across different testing environments.
- Apply strong debugging skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Must have strong UI/UX knowledge, including a solid understanding of user interface design and the ability to evaluate and test applications from an end-user perspective.
Required Skills:
- B.Tech/B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience as a Quality Analyst.
- Strong Software Testing and Management knowledge.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills, collaboration with developers, product manager, and QA team to gather requirements and refine test strategies
