Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst with strong expertise in manual testing and a fundamental understanding of automation tools. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality, stable, and efficient products by designing test plans, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand requirements.
- Ensure end-to-end product quality across all releases.
- Work with basic automation scripts and tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman) for API or UI tests.
- Create and maintain testing documentation including test plans, test reports, and defect logs.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and release validations.
- Provide suggestions for improving QA processes and product performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 47 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Writing detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test reports
- Web application testing
- Mobile app testing (Android/iOS)
- API testing (using Postman or similar)
- Basic knowledge of automation using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, ClickUp, etc.).
- Good understanding of SQL for basic DB validations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment.
Good to Have
- Experience in fintech or BFSI domain.
- Exposure to performance testing tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
