What You'll Do
The Quality Engineer is responsible for Transition Quality, coordinating with Sending Site Quality team and deploying work instructions/procedures and associated process controls. Quality Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, implementing and coordinating scrap reduction and quality improvement projects. Will be responsible for FAI/PPAP.
- Implement new Quality System that meets internal, customer, and industry requirements.
- Apply quality engineering toolset to ensure manufacturing process capability, including use of FMEA, control plan, MSA, process validation techniques
- Identify organizational training needs and execute training on subjects relating to customer requirements
- Facilitate dialog with customers and internal Eaton team to understand and resolve potential product quality issues through Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
- Handling on Calibration & CMM.
- Implements measures to improve inspection methods, equipment/tool performance, product quality, efficiency and morale.
- Execute other duties as assigned
- GD&T, Gauging, SPC, APQP,PPAP, MSA,RCCA, inspection techniques
- ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP quality assurance systems
- Strong analytical, project management, organizational, and time management skills
- Certified Internal Quality Auditor (AS9100) preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, from production associates to the leadership team
- Demonstrated leadership skills
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in mechanical, industrial, or aerospace engineering
5+ years of experience in Quality function in an aerospace industry

- Demonstrated command of: Machining, assembly, testing operations.
- ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP quality assurance systems.
- GD&T, Gauging, SPC, APQP,PPAP, MSA,RCCA, inspection techniques
