Manage all testing testing activities (Functional, non-Functional, Automation, Regression & Performance testing etc.) and ensure their deliveries are aligned to project/program timelines
Define and Drive best software testing practices & Establish test standards, guidelines, and methodologies.
Prepare and review testing strategy, frameworks, script development standards, test plans and testing complete reports.
Review business requirements (Stories), acceptance criteria, within the agile team to build test scenarios for testing activities.
Management of the Creation, execution and maintenance of test packs, test scripts, test data definitions and test results.
Manage all technical issues arising during internal system testing and end to end testing during the various test phases, (environments, interfaces, data etc) with the relevant teams.
Accountable to ensure the defects are detected and reported to be prioritized (based on impact) with the Product Owners/managers.
Review of all Tests to ensure they comply with test strategy and are at the right level of quality
Provide functional support to UAT testers on preparation of test data, test scenarios and defect management.
Effectively communicate testing status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.
Ensure troubleshooting support in complex test scenarios
Ensure technical support in deployment and usage stages
Must-haves
Good Experience of the BFSI domain.
Experience in preparing and implementing Test Strategy and test planning
Hands on experience in Non-Functional Testing.
Should have experience in estimation.
Well versed with setting-up Test Environment with required test data & appropriate level of access
Good experience in team handling and ability to work in matrix environment with multiple component teams.
Good SQL skills.
Experience of converting BA stories into test scenarios/cases.
Well versed with test management tool i.e., Quality Center/JIRA
Well versed with defect lifecycle
Good Experience in mobile application and web application UI testing.
Well versed with methodologies such as Agile/Kanban/Hybrid.
Excellent Communication skills written, oral.
Nice-to-haves
Working knowledge AWS & Linux environments.
Extensive experience of testing large scale, complex integration Programs/Projects
Technical testing background desirable
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
2 - 5 years of professional experience in above listed areas.
