Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Analyst with 4+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be proactive, quality-focused, and capable of independently managing end-to-end testing activities. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality delivery through effective test planning, execution, defect management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for web and mobile applications.
- Perform manual testing along with basic automation testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman or similar.
- Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, and supporting evidence.
- Execute regression testing to validate fixes and maintain system stability across releases.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date test documentation, test reports, and dashboards.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of strong experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver with TestNG (or similar frameworks).
- Solid experience in API Testing using Postman (REST APIs).
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Good understanding of test automation frameworks, concepts, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Exposure to ServiceNow platform and Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Basic scripting/programming knowledge in Java or Python.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.
- Prior experience in client-facing roles or direct stakeholder interaction.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) will be an added advantage.
