QMS Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer, based in Chennai. The QMS Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management system, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, and creating and updating documentation. The role involves conducting internal audits, identifying non-conformities, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.

• Proficiency in quality management systems, compliance with industry standards, and conducting internal and external audits
• Strong knowledge of process documentation, standard operating procedures, and regulatory documentation requirements
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to implement corrective and preventive measures
• Communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams effectively
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking for process evaluation and improvement
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and experience in the aluminum or metals industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
