Zemoso is looking for a Senior SDET (QA) to work closely with Engineering, Design, and Product teams to ensure end-to-end product quality through comprehensive testing strategies, robust automation, and strong problem-solving skills.
Successful candidates will have extensive hands-on experience with industry-standard automation tools, a solid foundation in API testing, and a deep understanding of CI/CD integrations. The right candidate will possess strong analytical skills, curiosity for identifying edge cases, and the exceptional ability to articulate quality metrics to various stakeholders in fast-paced agile teams.
What you will do:
- Test Strategy & Execution: Perform comprehensive Manual and Automation testing to ensure robust product quality across web applications and services.
- Automation Frameworks: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test scripts and frameworks using Selenium and Cypress.
- End-to-End Coverage: Identify and document E2E test scenarios, writing thorough test cases that cover both functional workflows and edge conditions.
- API Quality: Conduct rigorous API testing to ensure backend services are reliable, performant, and secure.
- CI/CD Integration: Leverage your understanding of CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into deployment workflows, ensuring continuous quality and rapid feedback.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and ensure quality is built in at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve test automation frameworks, test coverage, and internal QA processes.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on QA experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer.
- Core Automation Tools: 5+ years of hands-on, extensive experience with both Selenium and Cypress.
- Testing Methodologies: Proven exposure to and understanding of both Manual and Automation testing principles.
- API Expertise: Strong experience conducting and automating REST API testing.
- DevOps Knowledge: Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how test automation fits into continuous integration workflows.
- Communication: Excellent stakeholder communication and articulation skills; ability to clearly report on testing metrics, risks, and quality status to technical and non-technical team members.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify edge cases and debug complex issues effectively.
Nice to have Qualifications
- Familiarity with SQL or database testing.
- Experience with performance and non-functional testing (e.g., JMeter).
- Product and customer-centric mindset.
- Enthusiastic about learning and staying current with emerging test automation trends.
