Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through comprehensive testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify and document defects, issues, and inconsistencies in software applications.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that software updates do not introduce new issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and requirements.
- Support the team in continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
