QA Tester (Manual + Automation Preferred)

Overview

Webmark is looking for a QA Tester with strong testing instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to think like a real user.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys breaking things, exploring edge cases, and improving product quality through thoughtful testing. Manual testing is required, and familiarity with automation tools is a strong plus.

You'll work closely with developers in a fast-moving environment where products ship frequently and quality matters.

Key Responsibilities

Test web applications, APIs, and critical user flows

Perform manual exploratory testing to identify functional and usability issues

Use browser developer tools and real-world user scenarios to uncover bugs

Document bugs clearly with reproduction steps and expected behavior

Collaborate closely with developers during fast release cycles

Use AI tools to assist with test cases, debugging, and analysis

Contribute to test automation when possible (Playwright, Cypress, Jest)

Required Skills

Strong manual testing skills and testing intuition

Ability to think beyond checklists and explore edge cases

Good understanding of web browsers and browser behavior

Familiarity with browser developer tools

Strong attention to detail and clear documentation skills

Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, APIs, client/server concepts)

Strong communication and accountability

Nice to Have

Experience with automation testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Jest)

Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or similar

Exposure to AI-assisted QA workflows
