Description
We are seeking a Qa Tester for our team in India. This role is suitable for freshers/entry-level candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the field of software testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and collaboration with development teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not affected by new changes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
- Assist in the development of testing strategies and methodologies.
- Maintain test documentation and report on testing progress and outcomes.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
- Basic programming knowledge in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
