As a QA Tester at Cartol, you will be responsible for evaluating software quality through manual and/or automated testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to identify bugs, ensure functionality, and improve overall product performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system requirements and technical specifications
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans
- Perform manual and/or automated testing on web and/or mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality
- Conduct regression, functional, integration, and usability testing
- Ensure products meet business requirements and user expectations
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA processes in Agile environments
- Provide feedback to improve system usability and performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing is a plus
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
- Knowledge of performance or security testing
- Experience testing mobile applications (iOS/Android)
- ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
