Role Responsibilities
As a
Quality Engineer Specialist, your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bangalore
, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
- Plan, execute, and maintain tests for product integration
- Automate suitable integration test cases at API level
- Hands-on experience in test automation using Java, RxJava, Playwright, Shell scripting
- Use metrics to make sure we deliver good quality and focus our testing in the right areas
- Update and build required documentation and reports
- Work together with QA leads and delivery leads from various product teams to plan and implement the needed tests to make sure all components integrate well
- Track and maintain defect lists and aid development teams to ensure resolution of reported defects
- Ability to build good relationships with peers, business partners, and other stakeholders
- Working language is English
We expect you to have
- Experience Level: 6-8 years
- Primary Skills: Java, RxJava, React/Typescript, Playwright, Shell scripting
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Education Qualification: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems or related subject area, or equivalent work experience
It would be phenomenal if you have
- Knowledge on Capital Markets Clearing houses, post-trade functionalities specifically Risk Management and Market Data.
- Experience from working with financial systems especially trading, clearing, settlement systems
- Knowledge about Financial Math
- Knowledge about AWS and Docker containers
