Job Description



The Team Leader in the Lead Conversion Department will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of counselors/Telecounselor focused on converting leads into successful enrollments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales or lead conversion, strong leadership skills, and a passion for the education sector. This role requires a dynamic individual who can motivate their team to meet targets while maintaining a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage the Team:
    • Supervise and mentor a team of counselors/Telecounselor responsible for lead conversion.

    • Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for the team and ensure they are met.

    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to improve individual and team performance.

  • Optimize Lead Conversion Processes:
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase the conversion rate of leads into successful enrollments.

    • Monitor and analyze conversion metrics, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven decisions.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure a seamless lead-handling process.
  • Training and Development:
    • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
    • Keep the team updated on the latest industry trends, educational institutions, and visa regulations.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports on lead conversion rates, team performance, and other key metrics.
    • Present insights and recommendations to senior management for improving the lead conversion process.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, lead conversion, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the conversion metrics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively.
