Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with proven experience in product development and the financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• The QA Engineer will be responsible test plan development, execution, and results tracking as a member of a diverse, globally distributed team.
  
• The candidate will conduct in-depth application and workflow testing, as well as provide QA leadership and feedback to a diverse globally distributed team of Project Managers, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and other QA personnel.
  
• Collaborating with cross-functional agile team members to understand project requirements/user stories and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  
• Designing, developing, and maintaining manual and automated test scripts, with focus on creating effective and reusable test scripts.
  
• Working closely with developers and product owners to identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, and ensure timely resolution.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualification:

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree, in IT OR Computer Science strongly preferred.
  
• 7+ years experience in testing methodologies, QA terminologies and processes.
  
• Strong experience with JAVA+Selenium mandatory.
  
• Experience with Rest Assured & API testing.
  
• Experience with PL/SQL, Databases.
  
• Experience with BDD, Cucumber.
  
• Experience with JIRA/Xray.
  
• Experience with Agile/KANBAN.
  
• Experience with Jenkins - CI CD
  
• Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  
• Strong organizational skills, team-oriented attitude and attention to detail.
  
• Experience in capital market / order management system domain is plus
  
• Ability to develop simulators to test various integration touch points.
  
  

Good to Have Skills:

• Ability to work off hours to align with globally distributed team members.
  
• Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.
