QA Python Test Lead

Project Description:

We need a Python Test Lead to work for a leading investment bank in Trade Surveillance Project

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and microservices.

Build robust, reusable, and efficient backend components and RESTful APIs.

Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Develop and implement automation scripts using Python to improve system efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and enhance system performance.

Provide technical support and training to junior team members.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 9+ years of experience in data driven testing in Python

• Mandatory experience in Banking /Capital Market Projects and Trade Life Cycle

• Must have strong experience in any one of below (mandatory):

- Equities and Fix Income/Commodities / FX Options

• Good experience in leading team

• Good experience on PyTest and Test Automation

• Good experience in Selenium

• Strong understanding of web application testing and associated technologies.

• Proficiency in creating test plans and test cases per requirements and design

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Knowledge of PySpark

• Surveillance domain knowledge, regulations (MAR, MIFID, CAT, Dodd Frank) and related Systems knowledge is certainly a plus
