Job Description

Job Brief:

Seeking a motivated QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience to design, develop, and execute exploratory and automated tests ensuring product quality. The role involves reviewing requirements, defining test strategies, debugging, and tracking QA metrics to support smooth software releases aligned with client needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using open-source tools like Playwright and Selenium.
  • Maintain automated test suites across different test types and codebases.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
  • Perform regression testing after bug fixes.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify system requirements.
  • Monitor debugging process outcomes.
  • Investigate causes of software non-conformance and assist users with implementing solutions.
  • Track QA metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay current with new testing tools and strategies.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • 3+ years of QA automation experience, specifically with Playwright and Selenium.
  • 3+ years in software quality assurance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.


Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of C# is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server and scripting.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
