Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Manual Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through manual testing practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues in the software.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that the software is functioning as expected after fixes and updates.
- Participate in requirements analysis and provide input on testability and design.
- Maintain test documentation and reports for project stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in manual testing, preferably in a software development environment.
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and test scripts.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and life cycles.
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Understanding of SQL and ability to perform database testing.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
