QA Manual Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Tester with 34 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases to identify bugs and ensure that our applications meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.

Create, update, and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.

Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.

Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members.

Perform regression, functional, smoke, and exploratory testing.

Validate fixes and perform re-testing as needed.

Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Provide timely feedback and quality insights throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

34 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.

Good understanding of defect life cycle and bug tracking tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have:

Exposure to basic automation tools or willingness to learn automation.

Experience in API testing using tools like Postman.

Familiarity with SQL for data validation.
